With over 1.2 million citizens, India falls short of blood units,believable? Severe blood loss accounts for 31 percent of mothers’ deaths in Asia. The need is 12 million units and donations are only coming from one percent of eligible donors.

Obviously this gap cannot be bridged just by us alone!

However, this is a humble attempt on part of MY SMILE TRUST, to organise a blood donation camp.

Unfortunately, even the most righteous act demands a cost! Some places where the funds are utilized are:

• Refreshments for the donors.
• Rent for Bed and mattresses.
• Banners and posters for the event.
